10 Questions with Benjamin Almazán

How would you sum up your expertise?

I’m a seasoned project manager with a strong focus on digital experience platforms and marketing technology, particularly CMS and CRM ecosystems like HubSpot. Over the years, I’ve worked at the intersection of business, marketing, and technology—helping teams translate strategy into execution, align stakeholders, and deliver scalable solutions that actually get used.

What type of work do you lead at Mole Street?

I’m currently supporting HubSpot-related initiatives, helping clients structure and optimize their use of the platform across marketing, sales, and service. That includes advisory work, solution design, and helping teams align their processes with what HubSpot can realistically support.

What types of clients do you support the most?

So far, I’ve been working mostly with clients that are either implementing HubSpot for the first time or trying to get more value out of an existing setup. Typically, these are growing organizations that need better alignment between marketing and sales, and more visibility into their pipeline and performance.

What is a current project you're working on?

Right now, I’m involved in a couple of engagements where the focus is on improving how clients are using HubSpot—from cleaning up data structures and lifecycle stages to helping define more effective workflows and reporting. A big part of the work is making sure the platform reflects how the business actually operates, not the other way around.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy bringing clarity to complex situations. A lot of projects start with ambiguity—unclear requirements, misaligned expectations, or tools that don’t quite fit. Helping teams cut through that, define a clear path forward, and see tangible progress is probably the most rewarding part.

What is your superpower?

Connecting the dots. I tend to see how different pieces—people, processes, and technology—fit together, and where things are breaking down. That usually helps move conversations from abstract discussions into actionable decisions.

What's one Mole Street value that has special meaning to you? Why?

Clarity stands out to me. A big part of what I do is helping teams move from ambiguity to a clear plan—whether that’s defining scope, aligning stakeholders, or making sure a platform like HubSpot reflects how the business actually operates. When there’s clarity, execution becomes faster and a lot more effective.

What's inspiring you now?

Right now, I’m interested in how AI is being applied in a practical way within marketing and CRM ecosystems—not just as a buzzword, but in ways that actually improve decision-making, personalization, and team efficiency.

What is one fun fact about you?

I’ve trained over a thousand professionals across LATAM in Agile and project management practices, which has probably taught me as much as I’ve taught others (not sure if this is fun or not :P )
