We specialize in guiding our clients through digital transformation initiatives, including technical implementations, growth-driven design programs, technical HubSpot consulting projects.

Our culture is driven by the core values of Joy,  Grit,  Accountability,  Curiosity,  Authenticity, Clarity and Growth Mindedness. The team is positive, passionate, rational, resourceful, resilient, and results-oriented. We take pride in collaborating with each client to implement strategies that will grow their company. We also believe that “Great Things are Happening!

Mission: The Account Executive is responsible for new business growth at Mole Street. You'll build trust with prospects, referral partners, and HubSpot reps to drive pipeline, run full-cycle sales processes from first call to signed contract, and close deals across both services and HubSpot software sales. Your core job is hitting quota—sourcing net-new pipeline and running deals to close. You'll ramp into the technical fluency to run credible discovery and scope accurately: we'll support your scoping while you build it, and expect you to own it solo once you have.

What Success Looks Like:

Three disciplines drive success in this role:

Business Development — Build and maintain relationships with HubSpot reps, referral partners, and COIs to consistently source pipeline
Full-Cycle Sales — Run qualification through close: discovery, scoping, proposal, negotiation, signature, and a clean handoff to delivery
Consultative Selling — Build trust throughout the full sales cycle, ramping to running discovery and scoping with enough depth that prospects, HubSpot reps and delivery teams trust you as a peer, not a translator

Day-to-Day:

Business Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with HubSpot's Corporate and Mid Market Sales Reps, Strategic Customer Success Managers, Onboarding Specialists, and Services Consultants to drive qualified opportunities to Mole Street
  • Own a minimum sourced pipeline target (tracked against your metrics)
  • Attend conferences, events, and in-person meetings as needed to deepen relationships and source leads

Discovery & Scoping

  • Run initial qualification calls on inbound, demand-gen, and partner-sourced leads (HubSpot, LinkedIn, Events. )Run discovery conversations independently—ask the right questions to uncover real requirements, not just surface-level pain points
  • Own the scoping calculator and get the inputs right; confirm assumptions with delivery stakeholders, but don't rely on them to do your scoping for you
  • Speak fluently enough across HubSpot's hubs and supporting technologies that HubSpot reps see you as someone they can hand a technical conversation to without hand-holding
  • Translate client business goals into a clear, accurate SOW that delivery can execute against without a long clarification cycle

Proposing & Closing

  • Create compelling proposals based on your understanding of the business problems, solutions and appropriate pricing and present with confidence and clarity
  • Amend proposals and documentation as needed to gain verbal agreement
  • Write, send, and close contracts to signature, looping in internal stakeholders as needed to get the deal done
  • Follow up as required to get a yes or no.

Sales Execution

  • Sell across all service lines and across HubSpot's hubs and supporting technologies
  • Maintain excellence in CRM hygiene—log every conversation, update deal stage/timeline/value daily

Delivery Handoff

  • Share the signed contract with Finance and confirm the first invoice goes out before kickoff, with recurring billing set up per the SOW
  • Brief the engagement team on staffing needs based on your read of the client's goals, sentiment, and culture
  • Attend kickoff to give the team client background and context, aligned in advance with the Director of Consulting
  • Flag upsell opportunities in the kickoff and brief the team on where they can take it post-launch
  • Bill your time for Account Overview prep, briefings, and post-contract alignment

What We're Looking For:

Essential

  • Track record of hitting and exceeding quota selling services to mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Experience selling in tech-forward verticals with complex or nuanced sales cycles that have multiple senior stakeholders and a large buying committee (fintech, edtech, etc.)
  • Understanding of how marketing, sales, and customer success/service teams work together in a B2B go-to-market motion.
  • Strong relationship management and business development instincts—you generate net-new pipeline and build referral/partner and HubSpot-rep relationships from a standing start, not just close what's handed to you
  • High emotional IQ, strong integrity, doesn't take themselves too seriously
  • Analytical thinker—comfortable with quantitative and qualitative inputs alike
  • Competitive, with a desire to win and be rewarded accordingly
  • Highly coachable, willing to take and receive constructive criticism and grow from it
Preferred:
  • HubSpot
    • Hands-on comfort with HubSpot's CRM;
    • Familiarity with HubSpot functionality (enough to speak credibly, not implement);
    • Ability and willingness to reach working HubSpot fluency within 90 days—enough to run discovery and scope credibly, with delivery support while you ramp and solo once you have it. A floor to grow from, not a gate to clear.
  • Other Technologies
    • Familiarity with adjacent technologies: data warehouses, CDPs, other CRMs/CM.
    • Comfort with Google Suite, Slack, and PandaDoc
  • Admin
  • Bi-eekly account meeting attendance - 10:30am-11:00am Mondays
  • Weekly Sales Department meeting attendance
  • Availability on email, Slack, Gmeet, and phone during working hours for connects with team and client as needed
  • Work on special projects as assigned
